Yangon –Bagan – Sor Long Village – Nat Ma Taung – Mindat- Mandalay - Heho – Inle Lake - Yangon

Starting from Yangon, this trip will take you to all the unique places Myanmar has to offer. You will discover a world unlike any other, the land of thousand pagodas in Bagan, meeting with Chin ethnic groups, from the ancient city of Amarapura, the floating villages of Inle Lake and many more.

Itinerary Details

DAY 01. YANGON ARRIVAL ( – / L / D )


Upon arrival at the Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by Asia EZ Tour guide. You will be transfer to your hotel, for a chance to relax and refresh.
Visit first to the magnificent reclining Buddha Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda.

From there, our tour through Yangon city with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments; the 2,600 years old Shwedagone Pagoda. Once sunset arrives, glittering in the dark skyline, Shwedagone Pagoda is indeed a sight to behold.

Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Yangon.



After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Bagan. We begin the tour with visit to the famous SHWEZIGONE Pagoda, considered the most wonderful and shouldn’t miss pagoda in Bagan. Nearby SHWEZIGONE, we will visit WETKYI INN GUPYAUKGYI, a cave temple with exquisite mural paintings and the elegant HTILOMINLO Temple, noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

Continuing the tour of famous pagodas in Bagan, we arrive at ANANDA Pagoda. Said to be the perfect pagoda, an architectural masterpiece, it hides dark stories. In pursuit of perfections, the King who commissioned it was rumour to execute any worker who did not perform up to expectations.
In the evening, we resume our journey on horse cart, THATBYINNYU, the highest Pagoda in Bagan, DHAMMAYANGYI, the largest Pagoda in Bagan.

Finally, we will finish the evening with an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the one of the SUNSET HILL viewpoints.
Remark: The government strictly prohibited to climb all the temple in Bagan since February 2018.
Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Bagan.



After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will depart from Bagan, there will be four hour drive among the forested mountain and can take photos of the nature, through beautiful landscapes dotted with traditional bamboo huts, gold stupas and ox carts on the road. On arrival you will be shown to your comfortable accommodation where you can relax after the drive. Accommodation provided is simple and clean. Our modest en suite, twin bedrooms come with com­ fortable mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets and bathroom attach. We do not have electricity during night time but solar powered lighting is available.

After you will join the lunch, for traditional Chin food at the Community Lodge.

The afternoon offers time to meet the friendly Sor Long villagers who will guide you around their village observing of Chin Nature and Culture, Panoramic view and feeling to nature sense. They will proudly showcase some of their local customs and talk about the famous Chin facial tattoos. The village musicians will treat you to a musical rendition of a bamboo flute, played through the nose.

For dinner, you will join the community, for traditional Chin food at the community lodge.
Overnight at Sor Long *Community Lodge.



Mt Khaw-Nau-Sone is part of the Chin mountain range with a height of 10,500 feet above sea level and one of the highest peaks of Southeast Asia. Mt Khaw Nau Sone (Nat Ma Taung I Mount Victoria) is a protected area, in Khaw Nau Sone National Park which was established in 1994. Its area is 279 square miles. The park is an association of ASEAN Heritage Park and includes an important birding area. The park offers virgin forest, wild orchids and colourful butterflies.

We start the day with a traditional Chin style breakfast at the community lodge. After breakfast, we drive to
base camp about 17 kilometres away from the community lodge. At base camp we prepare for a trekking ad­ venture up Khaw Nau Sone. This walk will take approximately four hours. A packed lunch will be taken at the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the fresh air with a 360 degree view of the Chin Hills.

Return to base camp for a scenic drive back to Kanpletet, where we will visit one or two Chin ethnic tribes if time permits. Here you will encounter Nga, Muun, Daai, Uppu and Yin Do women with different facial tattoo patterns. You can see the tattooed face woman who play flute by her nose. After meet with your car and return back *Community Lodge.

For dinner, you will join the community, for traditional Chin food and Chin Khaung (Traditional Beer) at the com­ munity lodge. After dinner the villagers will entertain you with their** Cultural dancing.

Overnight at Sor Long Community Lodge.


Start the day with a traditional Chin style breakfast at the community lodge. After breakfast, packed lunch box and proceed to Mindut. About 2hours driven from kanpet­ let arrive Shame village, cease the car and start trek to Kyardoe village (45 minutes trek) where you can observe the culture and tradition of the Chin hill tribes. Their way of life is very different to the Burmans from the time they are born to their death.

In this village, they sacrifice animals such as bulls, pigs and mitigation for spiritual reasons.
Every household in the village is decorated with the skull of bulls, goats and wild animals they got from the forest. To the villages, there is a sense of pride to decorate their houses with these skulls because it shows their power, wealth and prestige. They record how many animals they sacrificed by decorating a large wood spike with different carving for different meanings.

Visit to Lote-Bell village, Pukwan village and walk down to a string bridge built across Makee creek for one and half hours trek. Crossing Makee creek you can meet with your car again and then drive back to Mindat (45minutes by car).

DAY 6. MINDAT (B /L / D)


Mindat Township is situated 4860 feet above the sea level. It is a mountainous region and has abundant rainfalls and natural forests. Due to its cold climate, the view of Mindat can be enjoyed under misty blue sky. Local communities still wear traditional clothing and carry Chin brackets and knives. Many women adorn themselves with their beautiful handmade necklaces and large traditional earrings.

A breakfast and start to sightseeing Mindut and environs. Explore the Chin traditional and culture. Visit to the hill tribe’s villages such as “NupHtai” village, Pan Au village, Visit to rare seen beautiful chin women with their amber beads and lilting songs, play­ ing the nose flute and Chin Museum. Observe their traditional and their ways of life. Evening watching sunset @ waibutaung monastery (if weather permit).

DAY 7. BAGAN (B /L / D)


Early morning visit the small market of the town. After breakfast leave from Mindat (7 ½ hrs) to Bagan.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in the early evening.

Lunch will be served at local restaurant on the way.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.


After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, we begin the tour of Mandalay.

The scared MAHAMUNI PAGODA, one of the famous and a giant glittering golden Buddha statue in Mandalay.

The SHWE INBIN MONASTERY, GOLDEN PALACE (SHWE NAN TAW MONASTERY) is the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace, following the bombings during World War 2. This grand teak wood building is known for its exquisite woodcarving and is a superb example of a traditional Myanmar wooden structure.

KUTHODAW PAGODA houses the world’s largest book, make up of 729 marble slabs onto which Buddha’s teachings are carved in ancient Pali scripts.

Mandalay is famous for its skilled craftsmen, who were historically commissioned by the royal families. Today these crafts live on in the many cottage industry workshops scattered throughout the city. We will visit a selection of these shops, witnessing the incredible techniques of wood carving, gold leaf making and kalaga tapestry sewing.

We will end our day with heading to U BEIN Bridge. This 200 year old teak bridge was built in 1782 when AMARAPURA was the Royal Capital. From there, you will see the panoramic sunset view on the Taung Tha Man Lake.

Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Mandalay.



After an early breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Nyaung U airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive (35 km – 1 ½ hrs) takes you to Nyaung Shwe city.

Then transfer to your hotel by boat for take some relaxation and refreshments. Moving across the lake, we will pass through villages with stilted houses, cruise by floating gardens built up from strips of land and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Be on the lookout for fishermen uses unique leg-rowing technique to propel their boats while casting their nets.

PHAUNG DAW OO Pagoda, one of our stops, is the main sanctuary of INLE Lake. We can take a short walk to the many handicraft and textile stalls in the compound and a nearby boat house to see the royal barges used during the pagoda’s annual festival.

Other stops include NGA PHE KYAUNG MONASTERY, with a beautiful collection of ancient Buddha images and proceed visiting to the NAM PAN VILLAGE to observe the cheroot making factory and wooden boat making.

Finally, we head to the hotel in time to catch a beautiful sunset.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on Inle Lake.
Dinner and you will be stay overnight hotel in Inle Lake.



After breakfast at your hotel, embark your boat and visit to the lake’s morning lively market. The market rotates its location around the lake’s villages in a 5-day rhythm and is visited by lake inhabitants and surrounding hill tribes who come to sell and trade their wares by boat. (Note: market is daily except on dark-moon day and full-moon day and the market days depend on the market calendar).

Continue to visit the weaving village of INPAWKHON. The workshops in INPAWKHON produce some fine shawls, scarves and longyi in silk, cotton and threads drawn from the stems of lotus plants.

Then we proceed to the western shore of the lake where you will find the beginning of a stair path leading to the INDEIN PAGODA complex. We continue on foot to a village nearby where several crops are grown in traditional ways. Walk in an easy pace along one of the many creeks passing through rice fields to the villages of SAE MA, INDEIN.

In the late afternoon, after interacting with the people in the villages and traveling to one of the monasteries, we will return by boat to your hotel in INLE Lake. On the way back, en-route stop visiting at the Padaung women (long neck ladies) in Ywa Ma village.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on Inle Lake.
Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Inle Lake.

DAY 11. HEHO – YAGNON (B /L / D)


After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, we spend the day visiting Yangon. Visit to the SULE PAGODA, which is located at the heart of Yangon down town area. Proceed stroll through to the BOGYOKE AUNG SAN MARKET known as Scott Market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays). A must visit for tourist, here you can see rows of stalls selling hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and food stores.

After lunch, proceed visiting to KARAWEIK HALL, a unique golden barge on KANDAWGYI (Royal Lake) for taking photos. It is a place of perfect view of Shwedagon Pagoda.

Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Yangon.

Day 12. DEPARTURE YANGON (B/ – / -)


After breakfast, you will transfer to the Yangon airport for international flight departure.
