Starting from Yangon, this trip will take you to all the unique places Myanmar has to offer. You will discover a world unlike any other, from the ancient city of Amarapura, the city on the Chindwin River by Monywa, the land of thousand pagodas in Bagan, the floating villages of Inle Lake and many more.

Itinerary Details

DAY 01. YANGON ARRIVAL ( – / L / D )

Upon arrival at the Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by Asia EZ Tour guide. You will be transfer to your hotel, for a chance to relax and refresh.

Visit first to the magnificent reclining Buddha CHAUK HTAT GYI Pagoda.

Proceed stroll through to the BOGYOKE AUNG SAN MARKET known as Scott Market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays). A must visit for tourist; here you can see rows of stalls selling hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and food stores.

From there, our tour through Yangon city with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments; the 2,600 years old SHWEDAGONE PAGODA. Once sunset arrives, glittering in the dark skyline, SHWEDAGONE PAGODA is indeed a sight to behold.

Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Yangon.


After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, we begin the tour of Mandalay.

The scared MAHAMUNI PAGODA, one of the famous and a giant glittering golden Buddha statue in Mandalay.

The SHWE INBIN MONASTERY, GOLDEN PALACE (SHWE NAN TAW MONASTERY) is the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace. This grand teak wood building is known for its exquisite woodcarving and is a superb example of a traditional Myanmar wooden structure.

KUTHODAW PAGODA houses the world’s largest book, make up of 729 marble slabs onto which Buddha’s teachings are carved in ancient Pali scripts.

Mandalay is famous for its skilled craftsmen, who were historically commissioned by the royal families. We will visit a selection of these shops, wood carving, gold leaf making and kalaga tapestry sewing.

We will end our day with heading to U BEIN Bridge. This 200 year old teak bridge was built in 1782 when AMARAPURA was the Royal Capital. From there, you will see the panoramic sunset view on the Taung Tha Man Lake.

Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Mandalay.


After breakfast at your hotel, we head to SAGAING HILL, with over 600 white painted pagodas, monasteries and nunnery. If Mandalay is the economic centre of middle Myanmar, Sagaing is the religious centre of Myanmar. It is home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centres. You will visit to SWAN OO PONE NYA SHIN, U MIN THONE SAE and KAHUNG MU TAW Pagodas.

From there, proceed driving up 1 hr to Monywa which located on the bank of Chindwin River. Upon arrival, start sightseeing to Thanbonde pagoda, a massive Buddhist complex pagoda. Continue to see the Bawdi Ta Htaung (1,000) Buddha images in a giant compound and Aung Sat Kyar Pagoda, which is a big standing Buddha in Myanmar.

Then, you will cross the Chindwin River by boat and then hop on a jeep for visiting to Pho Win Taung sandstone cave, famous for its numerous Buddha statues and mural painting. At this place, you can feed to the monkeys (if it is possible) and also visit to the nearer cave Shwe Ba Taung which is famous for its sculpture works by artistic U Shwe Ba.

Transfer to the hotel for check in.

Lunch and Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and you will be stay overnight in Monywa.


After breakfast at your hotel, you will drive (1 hr) to Pakkoku, is a town of central Myanmar located on the river Ayeyarwaddy.

Arrive you will stroll through the local market with its colourful vegetables and fruits, sells the regional products like tobacco, blanket and slipper. Then, you will visit to see how to make the tobacco workshop, Thanankha production (Myanmar traditional make up for women), and slipper production workshop.

After that, you will enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

Then, take by boat (about 2 hrs) down river to Bagan, situate on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. The time will be changed due to the water level of River. During the 11th to 13th centuries, when Bagan was the capital of First Myanmar Kingdom, rulers constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples, most of which still stand today on the banks of the AYEYARWADDY River.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in.

Lunch and Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Bagan.

DAY 5. BAGAN (B /L / D)

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Bagan. We begin the tour with visit to the famous SHWEZIGONE Pagoda, considered the most wonderful and shouldn’t miss pagoda in Bagan. Nearby SHWEZIGONE, we will visit WETKYI INN GUPYAUKGYI, a cave temple with exquisite mural paintings and the elegant HTILOMINLO Temple, noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.

Continuing the tour of famous pagodas in Bagan, we arrive at ANANDA Temple, which is famous for an architectural masterpiece, and it has four standing giant Buddha Statues.
In the evening, we resume our journey on horse cart, THATBYINNYU, the highest temple in Bagan, DHAMMAYANGYI, the largest temple in Bagan.

Finally, we will finish the evening with an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the one of the SUNSET HILL viewpoints.

Remark: The government strictly prohibited to climb all the temple in Bagan since February 2018.

DAY 6. BAGAN (B /L / D)

After breakfast at your hotel, we start the day at the colourful Nyaung Oo Market, where locals come to buy and sell fresh product and other goods every day. Take a walk around and you will see the production of PONE YEH GYI and other local delicacies.

Then we will continue on to sites of TAYOKEPYAY TEMPLE in MINANTHU Village, PHAYA THONE ZU and NANDAMANYA TEMPLES, which has long lasting mural painting and KYAT KAN CAVE. This cave is a quiet monastery and the perfect meditation retreat in Bagan.

Afterwards, we head to MYINKABA village and visit GUBYAUKGYI Temple, to admire the beautiful mural paintings and well-preserved plaster carvings. Nearby are MANUHA Temple and NAN PAYA Temple, two smaller temples known for its Buddha statues and stone work.

Lacquer ware and woodcrafts are two of Myanmar’s famous handicrafts. You will observe how these are made as we visit two workshops in Bagan. Watch as the skilled craftsmen use techniques passed down through generations to create many kinds of beautiful handicrafts.

Complete a day by cruising sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River.

Optional Tour

Balloon Experience Over Bagan – Experience the majestic landscape of Bagan with a soul-altering hot-air balloon ride over Bagan at sunrise -a thrill that promises to be a highlight of any trip to Myanmar. Dark and early in the morning, enjoy a snack of pastries, croissants, and coffee and watch as the balloons are filled -an experience itself. Then, after boarding the balloon, gently lift off above the temple-studded plains of Bagan just as the sun begins to rise above the horizon. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that won’t soon be forgotten.
(Note: available only from late- October to late-March; all flights weather permitting).


After an early breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Nyaung U airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive (35 km – 1 ½ hrs) takes you to Nyaung Shwe city.

Our Asia EZ guide will give you an introduction of the Inle Lake on a boat. Moving across the lake, we will pass through villages with stilted houses, floating gardens built up from strips of land and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Be on the lookout for fishermen uses unique leg-rowing technique to propel their boats while casting their nets.

PHAUNG DAW OO Pagoda, one of our stops, is the main sanctuary of INLE Lake and it has five glittering small Buddha statues which covered with gold.

Other stops include NGA PHE KYAUNG MONASTERY, a traditional Shan Style monastery with its famous for ancient Buddha images and proceed visiting to the NAM PAN VILLAGE to observe the cheroot making factory and wooden boat making.

Finally, we head to the hotel in time to catch a beautiful sunset.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on Inle Lake.

Dinner and you will be stay overnight hotel in Inle Lake.


After breakfast at your hotel, embark your boat and visit to the lake’s morning lively market. The market rotates its location around the lake’s villages in a 5-day rhythm and surrounding hill tribes who come to sell and trade their wares by boat. (Note: market is daily except on dark-moon day and full-moon day and the market days depend on the market calendar).

Continue to visit the weaving village of INPAWKHON. The workshops in INPAWKHON produce some fine shawls, scarves and longyi in silk, cotton and threads drawn from the stems of lotus plants.

Then we are leading to the western shore of INDEIN PAGODA complex, where you can see the ancient Shan style pagodas enshrined white color stupas. We continue on foot to a village nearby where several crops are grown in traditional ways. Walk in an easy pace along one of the many creeks passing through rice fields to the villages of SAE MA.

In the late afternoon, continue visiting to one of the monasteries, and on the way back, en-route stop visiting at the Padaung women (long neck ladies) in Ywa Ma village. Transfer back to hotel.

Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Inle Lake.


After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, we spend the day visiting Yangon. Visit to the SULE PAGODA, which is located at the heart of Yangon down town area.

Proceed stroll through to the BOGYOKE AUNG SAN MARKET known as Scott Market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays). A must visit for tourist; here you can see rows of stalls selling hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and food stores.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Yangon.

If time permit, we stop by KARAWEIK HALL, a unique golden barge on KANDAWGYI (Royal Lake) for taking photos. It is a place of perfect view of Shwedagon Pagoda.

Transfer to the YANGON airport for international flight departure.
